Torino V Athletic Bilbao Preview

Torino return to European action on Thursday evening as the face Spanish side Athletic Bilbao in the last 32 of the Europa League.

The Granata come into the first leg in in excellent domestic form, and are unbeaten in their last ten Serie A fixtures. Toro's last Europa League outing was the impressive 5-1 victory against Copenhagen back in December which guaranteed their qualification for the knockout stages.

Bruno Peres has been controversially omitted from the Europa League squad, so Cristian Molinaro should come into the starting eleven, whilst the more experienced Maxi Lopez may be preferred to Josef Martinez up front.

Athletic qualified for the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group, and are currently in 13th place in La Liga. Veteran striker Aritz Aduriz is the Basque sides top goalscorer this season, scoring thirteen goals in all competitions.
