Napoli 2-1 Torino

Torino lost their sixth consecutive game as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Napoli on Saturday evening.

Toro were playing in their first game for two weeks following the postponement of their home match against Parma due to concerns regarding COVID-19.

The home side were ahead within twenty minutes when Kostas Manolas headed home Lorenzo Insigne free kick.

Despite creating numerous chances throughout the match, Napoli were unable to extend their lead until the final ten minutes when Dries Mertens' excellent crossed was turned home by Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

Toro, who once again struggled to create any chances of note during the ninety minutes did claim a consolation in injury time. Substitute Simone Edera defied his 5'9 height by heading home at the far post from Cristian Ansaldi's cross.

The Granata have now not won since mid January and are only two points clear of Lecce in 18th place.
