Torino's impressive run of form continued as they came from behind to beat Frosinone on Sunday afternoon.
Tomas Rincon and Simone Zaza both earned starts following their goal scoring cameo's as substitutes against Chievo last weekend.
However, Toro once again made a slow start to the first half and it was the home side who had the first chance of the game as Salvatore Sirigu had to make a save from Camillo Ciano following a rare mistake from Armando Izzo.
Toro had to rely on Sirigu once again, this time to deny Luca Paganini's curling shot from just outside the area. However, Paganini did not have to wait long to get on the score sheet as he headed home from a corner just three minutes before half time to end Toro's run of 599 minutes without conceding.
Torino looked a totally different team to start the second half, and twice came close to equalising in the same move. Firstly, Simone Zaza was denied by Marco Sportiello, and then Tomas Rincon curled the rebound wide of the target.
Iago Falque came on as Toro desperately searched for an equaliser, and his inch perfect free kick was met by Andrea Belotti who headed home to level things up.
With twelve minutes remaining, Torino took the lead as Cristian Ansaldi's deep cross was intelligently headed back by substitute Ola Aina, and Andrea Belotti volleyed in.
Toro could have extended their margin of victory as Iago Falque hit the post with a free kick, and Andrea Belotti missed a great one on one chance in stoppage time to seal his hat trick. However, the Granata still did enough to claim a fifth win from their last seven games.

Frosinone v Torino Preview
Tomas Rincon and Simone Zaza could both be in line to start after goal scoring cameo's in the victory against Chievo. Ola Aina, who picked up an injury in the warm up for that game has been included in the squad and could feature.
Frosinone are currently in 19th place having lost four of their last five home games, but picked up a creditable 0-0 draw at Genoa last weekend despite playing most of the game with ten men.

Torino 3-2 Frosinone
Alex Berenguer scored an excellent goal to spare Torino's blushes as they almost squandered a 2-0 lead against Frosinone.
Daniele Baselli and Simone Zaza both returned to the starting eleven as Torino were looking for a second consecutive victory.
Andrea Belotti almost gave Toro the lead in the early stages, but his low shot rebounded off the post, however the Granata did not have long to wait for their first goal.
On twenty minutes, Simone Zaza's clever assist set up Tomas Rincon, and the Venezuelan fired home a low shot from outside the area.
Toro doubled their lead just a minute into the second half, when Zaza's initial shot was saved by Marco Sportiello, Daniele Baselli was on hand to score.
However, just before the hour mark, Frosinone had a lifeline as Edoardo Goldaniga bundled home from a corner. Toro were furious that the goal was allowed to stand, as the home side felt Salvatore Sirigu had been fouled in the build up.
Moments later, Frosinone were level, as shambolic defending allowed Camillo Ciano to head home Joel Campbell's cross.
Walter Mazzarri responded immediately by bringing on Vittorio Parigini, and the youngster made an immediate impact, as his cross caused havoc in the Frosinone defence. The ball eventually fell to Alex Berenguer who curled home from just outside the penalty area to give Toro the lead.
Torino held on for a crucial three points, although the manner of the performance was a little concerning.

Torino v Frosinone Preview
Toro have still not scored a first half goal this season, and will look to change that statistic against Frosinone who are yet to win since gaining promotion to Serie A in the summer.
Lorenzo De Silvestri is injured after picking up an injury against Chievo, so Alex Berenguer and Ola Aina should start as wing backs, whilst Simone Zaza could start after scoring the winner in the same game.
Frosinone are coached by former Torino player and Primavera coach Moreno Longo, who is sure to get a warm reception from the Toro supporters.

Torino 4-2 Frosinone
Torino won their first game since November as they beat Frosinone 4-2 on Saturday evening, with the returning Ciro Immobile amongst the scorers.
Immobile started upfront on his 'second' debut for the club, whilst Uruguayan goalkeeper Salvador Ichazo was preferred to Daniele Padelli in goal.
Toro made a bright start and were awarded a penalty in the opening ten minutes when Kamil Glik was pulled back by Davide Bertoncini. Ciro Immobile had to take the spot kick twice, due to encroachment, but on both occasions sent Nicola Leali the wrong way.
The Granata failed to build on their great start and were rightfully punished by the visitors who equalised through Paolo Sammarco's sensational header from Daniel Pavlovic's cross.
However Toro were back in front just four minutes later, and Immobile was once again heavily involved as his header was initially saved by Leali, but Andrea Belotti was on hand to score.
Torino then extended their lead even further just before half time when Frosinone failed to clear a corner, and that enabled Nikola Maksimovic to find Belotti who fired the ball into the roof of the net.
Frosinone were once again given a lifeline mid-way through the second half when substitute Danilo Avelar diverted a corner into his own net.
However, with less than ten minutes remaining, Toro secured all three points when Belotti's low cross found Marco Benassi, who finished smartly.

Torino v Frosinone Preview
Torino will look to end their run of four defeats in a row when they host relegation threatened Frosinone on Saturday evening.
New signing Ciro Immobile is included in the squad and could make his second debut for the club, although Maxi Lopez misses out amid rumours he returned back from the Christmas break overweight.
Frosinone, who are coached by former Toro striker Roberto Stellone, have lost four of their last five games including a heavy 5-1 defeat at home to Napoli last time out.

Torino made a disastrous start to the new Serie A season, but came from behind to beat newly promoted Frosinone on Sunday afternoon.
Daniele Baselli and Danilo Avelar were both given league debuts for the Granata, but Giampiero Ventura left Andrea Belotti on the bench as Maxi Lopez partnered Fabio Quagliarella in attack.
Frosinone made a dream start in their first ever Serie A match when Luca Paganini's cross was stabbed home by Danilo Soddimo. Toro responded well to that set back and came close to equalising, but Quagliarella's header was tipped over the bar by Nicola Leali.

On the hour mark, Toro finally had their deserved equaliser when Danilo Avelar's cross was volleyed home by the outstanding Quagliarella.
And then four minutes later Torino took the lead when the impressive Daniele Baselli curled a low shot into the bottom corner following a short corner.
That goal was enough for the Granata to claim all three points, and whilst the performance was not without its flaws, the character shown by the team this early in the season was certainly encouraging.

Frosinone v Torino Preview
New striker Andrea Belotti has been included in the squad following his transfer from Palermo and is in line to make his debut. However, Maxi Lopez and Josef Martinez both staked their claim to partner Fabio Quagliarella upfront after both players scored against Pescara in the Coppa Italia last weekend.
Frosinone have recorded successive promotions under the stewardship of former Toro striker Roberto Stellone. Stellone was a popular figure in his four year spell at the Granata, scoring 16 goals in 113 appearances.
Nikola Maksimovic, who has been linked with a move away from the club is also included in the squad, and could make his first appearance of the season.

Frosinone 1-0 Torino
Torino's poor run of form continued with a 1-0 defeat at Frosinone, their fourth defeat in a row, and a match that ultimately led to the departure of Giuseppe Papadopulo after just eleven days in charge.
Like so many times this season, Torino actually started the game quite brightly, and should have taken the lead in the opening ten minutes when Rolando Bianchi set up Mirco Antenucci, but the former Catania striker saw his shot go wide. However, once again they were made to pay for not taking their chances, as ten minutes into the second half, Frosinone took the lead. The goal was a scrappy one, as Torino failed to clear from a corner, and the ball fell to Dario Biasi whose left footed strike nestled perfectly into the bottom corner. Rolando Bianchi had two late chances to rescue a point for Toro, but both of his efforts failed to hit the target, as Torino's promotion dreams continue to fade away.

Frosinone V Torino Preview
As the lyrics to a well known song say, 'things can only get better' and Torino will be certainly hoping that is the case when they face their next Serie B fixture away to Frosinone on Saturday.
After three successive defeats, new coach Giuseppe Papadopulo will be hoping to get a first victory under his belt for his new club and try to reignite their slim chances of promotion.Whilst they are only two points off the final playoff position, it is perhaps their inconsistent form that will be more of a hindrance to their promotion ambitions, as they have already tasted defeat on twelve occasions this season.
Frosinone have also had a disappointing campaign, and find themselves in serious danger of being relegated as they currently occupy 21st position. Therefore Torino will have to be aware that they will be equally if not more desperate to gain the victory on Saturday.
